A morning with claract

9:40 to 12:00 — from the desk that runs the matter.

The power of attorney arrives at 9:40. claract reads it, opens the file and enters the appeal deadline — review, approve, done. By midday the prior correspondence is mapped: who promised what and when, with a citation to the page. The draft statement of appeal is ready — and the lawyering starts where it belongs: with the argument.

Try it now

Ask how claract carries your matter.

Describe a task from your firm’s daily work — reading into a file, deadline control, drafting a brief. The assistant shows you right here how claract would approach it. No strings attached, no sign-up.

Connected

claract sits beside your case file — not in front of it.

Your practice software, the DMS, the deadline register and outgoing mail stay where they are. claract reads from them, writes back and takes over the work in between: a mandate becomes a file, 1,400 pages become an answer with a citation, a conversation becomes a follow-up. Hosted in Germany.

FAQ

What law firms ask us first.

Is claract compatible with attorney professional secrecy (§ 203 StGB)?

Yes. We sign a DPA under Art. 28 GDPR that accounts for attorney professional-conduct rules. Client data is processed exclusively in certified data centers in Germany, there are no third-country transfers, and no provider gets access beyond pure data processing.

Can we automatically compare draft contracts and briefs?

Yes. Automated document comparison detects deviating clauses between two versions — even reworded ones — and flags them directly in the document, including a risk assessment.

Does the AI work with publisher databases like Otto Schmidt?

Yes. Publisher-database queries (e.g. databases like Otto Schmidt) can be searched together with your DMS, client files and email — one question, multiple sources, with citation.

Where is our client data stored?

We process personal and client data exclusively in the EU — by default in certified data centers in Germany. No third-country transfers take place.

Is case content used to train the AI models?

No. Inputs as well as client and case data are never used to train or fine-tune the language models — contractually guaranteed by all LLM providers we use (incl. Microsoft Ireland, Google Cloud EMEA), which host within the EU/EEA.

How is usage billed?

Through a shared quota of AI actions for the whole firm — one query, one extraction, one comparison each counts as an action. One contract, transparent billing, no per-seat licensing maze.
